We got this carseat to replace the Alpha Omega we had after a car wreck. We got this carseat because of the fact that I could keep my daugher in the harness a lot longer than many of the other brands that are out. The things that I liked about this seat were the fact that there are two cup holders that are installed into the seat itself which was wonderful to put juice cups or snacks for trips. The seat also sat up higher which allowed her to look out the window which was another bonus. It had the latch system which is in almost all newer cars which is secure so these were all wonderful things. (We did get the spiral look rather than whatever pattern this one is though)
What I disliked about this carseat is the chest clip. Graco seems to keep this chest clip on almost all their carseats and while I LOVE the brand (especially for infant carseats)I had to return this seat in less than one month because my daughter who is 18 months had figured out the chest clip and had escaped out of her seat by unclipping the chest clip, pulling her arms out one by one and then twisting until she got out. I called Graco to see if they had another clip of some sort that would work and they didn’t and so I had to bring the carseat back to the store and pick another brand with a different clip.
This is not something that all parents will face with their kids. Mine just happen to have an escapee gene (my 4.5 yr old son is also this way and has escaped numerous carseats, harnesses, and safety devices). If it had not been for the clip that they use I would have very gladly stuck with this carseat or if their clip was harder/stiffer for a child to open.

We love this car seat! We had it in the lighter “Sandbox” color. My daughter, who is on the big side, used this car seat from age 1 to age 2, at which point she was growing out of it (36″ tall and 33 lbs, size of a 3-year-old). We both were sad to part with it; she cried when we sold it and had to sit in it one last time after the seat’s new mommy had already installed it in her car!

A convertible seat for your baby is safe to drive safely in the rear position, and how they grow, then it will make a suitable vehicle in the forward-facing seat for your child. Recent legislative changes mean that parents and drivers (the new law and not only) have to be aware of the guidelines dealing with children in traffic.
Britax seats have a number of convertible baby. The Britax Boulevardprovides infants weighing between 5 - 35 pounds as the other side, and the first pages, up to 65 pounds. This convertible has established special security features, most of the others, and is very easy to use. It is an ideal car seat for underweight, moderate, or stillbirth.
