We’ve been using this stroller since my son was born (4 months ago), only with the Maxi Cosi Mico infant seat, so I can’t speak to how the Quinny seat has been working, but I can say that we love this stroller. (And I have felt the seat, which feels like neoprene/wetsuit material, and absolutely NOT like burlap. Seriously?)

The stroller maneuvers like dream, and I can easily steer/push it with one hand. The wheel locks are easy to operate, it folds down nice and flat, and pops open with the easiest and quickest touch. We constantly get looks and compliments on this stroller, and after trying out the various Bugaboos, Maclarens, etc. we were completely sold as soon as we tried this one. My husband and I are both tall, and every other stroller we test drove caused us to 1) hunch over the push bar and 2) kick the back wheels. The handlebar can extend up to 6+ inches, and the back wheels are far enough apart that we never kick or trip on them, like we did on others.

My son benefits from the very smooth ride and nice bouncy shocks, and I’m excited to try out the stroller with the original seat, once he’s big enough. I’d recommend this stroller to any parents.

Fun, functional and oh, so stylish - cindymsm - Atlanta
After a lot of online research, I decided to purchase the Quinny Buzz travel system (including the maxi cosi car seat) and I have loved it. I don’t know if it’s the easiest stroller and car seat to handle and maneuver (this is my first baby so I have no prior experience), but trust me, it’s not difficult at all. My little girl is just now big enough to use the stroller without the car seat, and she loves it. I only wish there was one big enough for me to be pushed around in! It looks like it would be so comfortable - the seat material is like a memory foam mattress. I get tons of questions and compliments about it everywhere I go, so you can’t beat the style, and in my opinion, the functionality is just as good. My only constructive comment is I wish there was more storage. I ended up buying the cup holder (it arrived today), and I’m thinking about getting some of the hooks. Other than that, I give it a gold star and an A + + + !

to the previous reviewer…..the reason why your stroller unintentionally pops out is probably that you do not follow manufacturer instructions and don’t lock it. Folding is not hard at all, requires a little practice at the begining and once master can be very easy (I prefer folding and unfolding over Bugaboo…)Cover is very easy to wash, car sear and stroller seat both very comfortable for the baby, the only downside is that it’s making noise after few months of usage and takes a lot of space in my SUV trunk but on the other hand my Bugaboo takes even more. The plastic they are using is somewhat on a cheaper side and feels cheaper than Bugaboo. Otherwise I do recommend it for using is for long stroll with Bassinet or car trips with car seat and frame. Definitely very eye catching, every third person is stoping us and asking or complementing this stroller either used with car seat or in stroller mode.

We bought this booster for a very tall near 2 year old who had outgrown her convertible seat. Installation was OK in our Hyundai Santa Fe - I think all carseats are a little tricky, each with its own directions and eccentricities of getting it to fit in your specific car just right. No issues after reading the manual and a little trial and error, as expected for a car seat. Daughter is now 3.5 and still very comfortable in this seat (using harness system). I agree with some posters who say the “pillow” makes the head tilt too far forward, but our daughter rarely sleeps in the car (I know, that’s unusual), so not an issue for us. It’s just stuck on with velcro, so you can just take it off if it’s an issue. The loosen/tighten strap adjustment knob on the side is a great feature, and works pretty well. You do have to use just a little might, but easy enough. Much better than our other carseat where you have to pull the strap straight down underneath the seat at just the right angle - yuck. We never used the cupholder, just because we needed to use the space next to the carseat for another person to sit. All in all, this is a nice seat, with nice fabric and padding, our daughter loves it, there are no real issues, and it was a great price.

Safe but cheap construction, cumbersome and uncomfortable - M. Miller - Central IN
First off, I gave this seat 3 stars because when used with the latches it does fit very securely in the car and I do believe it is safe. However, the cons definitely out-weigh the pros. We bought this carseat when he was just over a year old to transition from the Baby Trends rear-facing seat. I agree that this seat is safe, however it is awkward & not terribly sturdy. Unfortunately, the store we bought it from closed shortly after purchasing the seat so we were unable to return it. It is now used as a back-up car seat in my husband’s vehicle.

To agree with the other reviews: There is little head support for the sleeping child. The cover is difficult to remove/replace for washing. The buckle between his legs fits at an odd angle & even though he’s a very skinny tot, if you’re not careful it pinches his legs when buckling him in. The location of the turning mechanism for tightening the 5 pt harness is under the front of the car seat in a very tight fit. My husband’s hands are too large to get under the seat to tighten it.

Other experiences: The seat doesn’t recline at a good angle. There is a lot of bulk in the head rest that kind of holds the child’s head forward at an uncomfortable angle. (again, not good for sleeping) The child sits very low in the seat. Therefore I do NOT recomend using the lap/shoulder belt until the child is much older. (Not to mention, they can’t see out the window.) We had the seat less than a month when he broke off the cup holder. A sippy cup had gotten stuck & when he gave it a hard yank it snapped apart & the plastic hinges were actually broken. Within the first 6 months one of the arm rests were also broken. I have no idea exactly how a small 1 year old could have pulled it off, but he broke the plastic at the hinge and we were unable to fix it. I didn’t hear any loud rocous in the back seat. I heard him moving the arm rests up & down (not hard either) then I heard a pop followed by “uh oh”. Being small for his size he finally hit a growth spurt around his 2nd birthday and started complaining that his back hurt whenever we were in the car. I brought it inside and had him sit in the seat & show me exactly where it hurt. Sure enough when I pressed in that area there is a big bulge of plastic that I assume is for lumbar support, however it seems excessive and there is little padding to accompany it.

It’s to a point that he doesn’t like to ride anywhere with his dad because he doesn’t want to sit in this seat. We finally purchased a .00 seat from Graco. The Graco’s latch system tightens in as securely as this one, the cover is well padded and super easy to remove and replace, the ever-important cup holder stays securely in place and best of all there’s no complaining from the back seat of “Mooooommmmmmmyyy my back hurts!!!”

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter. I have had good luck with other Evenflo car seats so tying another model was a no-brainer. However, I have been very disappointed with this seat. I agree with another reviewer who said the harness tightening knob is very hard to turn because it is pretty much right up against the seat of the car. My fingers get stuck between the knob and the seat when trying to turn. Probably the biggest reason I dislike this carseat is the comfort. The way the head rest is positioned, it actually makes my daugther’s head go forward a bit instead of either just straight back or reclined. We travel a lot and there have been many times she tries to fall asleep but ends up crying in pain due to the way the seat forces her head forward. There is no possibility of resting the head back or even to the side. We’ve had this seat a few months now and I’m definitely going to call it a loss and get a new different one.

When my my daughter grew out of her Evenflo Triumph (around when she turned 3) I went looking for a similar 5 pt harness seat that converted to a booster. I was thrilled when I found this as it was very affordable and I thought had all the features I loved, but it did not translate into as nice a car seat as her Triumph was. First off, the loosen/tighten turn knobs are so close to the actual car seat that adjusting them is very difficult, one feature I absolutely loved on the Triumph. Second, it is not as padded so she was a bit uncomfortable at times. The clencher though was when we drove 1500 miles to visit family and she could not sleep b/c this doesn’t recline. She was so miserable that we bought an Alpha Omega for the trip home and she’s been using that ever since!(she’s now 5 years old). Now we use this seat for my husband’s car or Grandma’s car. It works, it’s safe, just not very easy or convienient. On the upside, it is considerably lighter than the Triumph.
